REVIVE - SPRING SUMMER 2019 / 2020 by N1NETEEN THE LABEL

R E V I V E – Spring Summer 2019 / 2020

Revive was inspired by the form art of nature, especially

insect and dragonfly. We took the inspiration from the wings, colour, and texture which then implemented to be a wearable garment for spring and summer season.

The first idea for this collection to be called as “Revive” was coming from the life cycle of death hawk moth. On the old myths, people believe that death hawk moth was representing stages of human life, the cycle of nature, renewal, rebirth, and even resurrection. In some culture believes that death hawk moth was associated with the immortality of the soul – that is a little background about this collection main inspiration.

“Revive” carried out the fashion cycle that always moving in a fast pace – changing every seasons even every month! The reason why this collection called “Revive” because we want to emphasis a garment that will not be out of date, so this garment will still be wearable every season, “Reviving every season and never be outdated”. Creating a sophisticated garment that are beautiful yet wearable as long as the owner want to wear it.

This “Revive” collection using a neutral earthy tone as the main colour palette, which refer back to our main inspiration which is death hawk moth and insects. The choose of using camel colour for the blouse and pale brown for the pants was an idea to keep the collection cohesive with the inspiration. Moreover, we also thinking about the target market. Since we are targeting a young woman from 22 – 30 age range, of course, most of them will go with a neutral colour as an option for their garment.

This entire “Revive” design is associated with fragility, vulnerability, attraction, seduction, fatality and passion. We provide a garment that will last forever in your wardrobe, using delicate fabric such as satin, silk, organza, jacquard, handled with a delicate hand sewing in every process.
